Senior Analytics Lead
Chris is an experienced management consultant who specialises in using data modelling and analytics to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Having worked for both public and private sector clients on a range of performance improvement, organisational change, procurement support and cost reduction projects during his time in the Decision Sciences Centre of Excellence at PA Consulting, whilst at PPL he has focussed on projects improving and integrating care across the whole health and care system. Working with teams of senior leaders, frontline operational staff, subject matter experts, service users and technical specialists he combines his knowledge of problem-solving tools and approaches, data analysis, visualisations and modelling with sector-specific insight to co-produce robust and practical solutions for each challenge.
He has experience working in all areas of the health and care system – including acute sector improvement as part of GIRFT within NHSI, supporting primary care network development, integrating health and social care through implementing BCF schemes and STP plans (such as intermediate care community services and improved hospital discharge), evaluation of developing Vanguards and ACO/ICS programmes, adult social care workforce and service redesign to support changes in the Care Act, analysing capacity and demand for mental health services, special educational needs school provision and young offenders health services, and also the economic benefits of people-powered health through Nesta’s Realising the Value programme.
Chris holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in Operational Research from Lancaster University.
