Pei-Ling joined PPL in October 2017 from a background of Biomedical Sciences, specialising in Global Health and Epidemiology, where she gained insight into various health system models and their governance.
She produced a literature review of the ‘Quality of Care in the NHS’ where she evaluated the obstacles that exist in the system. She also produced a systematic review analysing the effectiveness of existing interventions on reducing the 30-day hospital readmission rate.
Pei-Ling has previous experience within change management from her time at Homerton University Hospital Foundation Trust working on a public health change project. Here she negotiated with key stakeholders to remedy the ‘obesogenic’ environment that was identified to exist and transformed the staff intranet to widen access to health advice material.
Pei-Ling holds a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences from Imperial College, London
