Victoria joined PPL in January 2020 with a commercial and academic background in healthcare research.
Over the last four years, Victoria has worked on the behalf of several large healthcare industry firms and leading charities to research the key challenges faced by NHS professionals in the UK and abroad. With this insight, she would provide advice on how to address these issues with products and/or services. This varied work spanned strategic workshops, surveys but also the development of cost-effectiveness analysis tools for CCG commissioners.
Immediately preceding the launch of Urgent Treatment Centres in England, Victoria was commissioned to map the changing urgent care pathways and to investigate the need for diagnostic medical devices. Victoria conducted a review of publicly available data, submitted targeted FOI requests and spoke to senior urgent care GPs and commissioners, to produce a summary report and a set of recommendations to inform the medical device manufacturer’s national product strategy.
Working to address a diverse range of client business needs, Victoria is a flexible and hands-on consultant. Most recently, Victoria has specialized in supporting clients through stakeholder mapping and social network analysis and the management of multidisciplinary and executive clinical advisory boards.
Victoria is an expert in mixed-methods research design and identifying relevant data sources. Beyond this, she has supported clients with internal training, process management and advice on new approaches to working.
Victoria has twice co-authored poster presentations at the European conference for the Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) and is a recipient of the Best New Investigator Research Poster Award.
Victoria holds an MSc in Medicine, Science and Society from King’s College London and a BSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Cell Biology from The University of Sheffield, where she was further credited The University of Sheffield Santander Award for Creativity and Innovation.
