Vish Valivety

Vish Valivety joined PPL in 2014 with a strong analytical background and a structured approach to project management, working with system leaders to provide improved care for local populations.

As part of the Epsom Health and Care Programme, Vish was the financial and analytics lead working to analyse and project potential costs and savings. As the programme developed, Vish worked closely with local leaders to help design, develop and launch the @home service, an integrated team supporting older people out-of-hospital and helping them to stay independent and well.

Vish has a keen interest in innovation and entrepreneurship, and leads PPL’s work in this area, including with start-ups and VCSE partners. As part of the Hampshire Vanguard Programme, Vish worked with a consortium of organisations to adopt and adapt the well-established Gesundes Kinzigtal model of system integration for Fareham and Gosport, with leading GP practices developing rapid learning cycles, identifying challenges and solutions; whilst also facilitating the system leadership to create new models of risk and benefits-sharing.

Vish holds a B.Eng. (Hons) degree in Medical Engineering from Columbia University / University of Bradford and an MSc. Management (Merit) from Imperial College Business School, where he specialised in operational science and focused his thesis on improving healthcare systems through management science and decision-making.

He is an MSP Certified Programme Manager and a business mentor for X-Forces Enterprise, a charity that provides mentoring to ex-service members and their families to help start and grow their own businesses.
