Former Accenture UK Managing Director, Gregor McHardy, joins PPL as a Senior Advisor

Leading social enterprise and public sector management consultancy, PPL, is welcoming Gregor McHardy to its board of senior advisors.

McHardy was most recently a managing director at Accenture UK, where he worked with clients for over thirty years to shape and deliver complex technology change programmes.

McHardy’s appointment bolsters PPL’s commitment to working in partnership with public, private and VCSE organisations to address some of the UK’s biggest health and social challenges, using the latest advances in digital, data and technology.

“Gregor’s appointment to the board of senior advisors at PPL is a significant milestone for us.” explains Claire Kennedy, joint chief executive at PPL.

“For too many years, the promise of technology in the public sector has not been matched by the reality.  With vast experience of leading global technological change programmes across multiple sectors, Gregor’s practical knowledge and expertise around harnessing the power of digital and data will be invaluable.”

As a senior advisor at PPL, McHardy will play a key role in driving the organisation and its client work forward:

“I am delighted to join the board of senior advisors at PPL, a social enterprise with a talented and inspiring team focused on delivering change in health and social care.”

Gregor McHardy is the most recent appointment to the senior advisor team at PPL, which includes leaders from the worlds of consulting, health and social care, academia and the third sector, including: Nigel Edwards, Edel Harris OBE,  Professor Paul Corrigan CBE, Ren Kapur MBE, Sean Harriss, Halima Khan and Dr Charlotte Augst.

One of the Financial Times’ leading management consultancies in the UK, and “Gold” rated in Healthcare & Life Sciences, PPL is on a mission to do things differently. PPL is the only management consultancy in the UK that is both a social enterprise and a BCorp, reinvesting 50% of its profits with third sector partners every year to improve health and wellbeing across the UK.
