‘Do What You Can’ Insight Series: Sean Harriss on aspirations for the new administration and getting the boring stuff right

In this first episode of our ‘Do What You Can’ Insight Series, Claire Kennedy spoke to Sean Harriss – who’s spent 30 years working in local government and is now a PPL Senior Advisor.

Claire and Sean talk about why public service reform is critical and why getting the boring bits right matters so much. They also cover lessons learned from creating positive change and how devolution of power and responsibility will achieve reform and economic growth.

Sean has been working in local government since the early 1990s and is a highly respected local authority Chief Executive with more than 15 years at the helm of councils in London and Greater Manchester.
