Following his appointment as Strategy Advisor to the Department of Health and Social Care, and after sixteen years in the chair, Professor Paul Corrigan CBE will be stepping down from leading social enterprise management consultancy, PPL’s, senior advisory group.

Paul Corrigan has been chair of the PPL senior advisory group since its inception, supporting PPL on its mission to tackle some of the biggest health and social challenges in the UK.

Claire Kennedy, Joint Chief Executive of PPL, said:

“We would like to take this as an opportunity to thank Paul for his immense contributions to our work and that of our clients over the course of a decade and a half and to congratulate him on his new role in the Department of Health and Social Care.

“We are delighted to announce today that Nigel Edwards will be taking on the role of chair of our senior advisory group.

“Nigel joined PPL as a senior advisor in 2023, following his role as Chief Executive of the Nuffield Trust. Nigel has been instrumental in developing our recent work and thinking in key areas of public service transformation, including around integrated neighbourhood working and virtual wards.  We look forward to working with Nigel, our core team and senior advisors to take these opportunities forward, in partnership with colleagues across the health, care, wider public and voluntary and community sectors.”
