Dr Katie Lansdell
Katie joined PPL in 2017 and leads on Personalisation & Capacity Building.
She is an senior, experienced consultant specialising in public sector transformation who has worked for clients across central local government, health and the private sector, including as a manager senior manager at Deloitte, PwC and EY. Much of her work over the last 18 years has focused on social care and health, especially the integration of the two.
Katie’s broad skills base is centred on a combination of strong people and analytical skills: including stakeholder management, co design, programme and project management. She has led major projects including development of person and community-centered care, Integrated Care Systems and organisations, local government and health commissioning, cost reduction through better third-party spend and demand management, business case development, operating model design, business process re-design, communications, marketing and change management.
Katie brings extensive experience of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders from board level to frontline staff, patients and service users. She has designed engagement programmes for service changes including running workshops with commissioners, providers, community and voluntary sector organisations and the public.
Katie is currently leading our work on embedding volunteering in STP and ICS responses to the Long Term Plan, as well as with Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership.
Katie holds a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from UCL, an MRes in Bioprocessing from UCL and a BSc (Hons) in Biology from The University of Exeter.
