Social enterprise and public sector management consultancy, PPL, and their Sonder Group partners, have been awarded a place on the new NHS Shared Business (NHS SBS) Consultancy and Advisory Services for Health framework agreement.

The partnership agreement runs from 2024-2028 and focuses on meeting the needs of the healthcare sector by providing consultancy and advisory services.

Simon Morioka, joint chief executive at PPL, said: “We’re pleased that PPL and our Sonder Group partners, have been awarded a place on the new NHS SBS framework. We’re proud to be supporting NHS services in line with our core mission at PPL to tackle some of the biggest health issues in the UK by driving powerful change.”

Shradha Shukla, Senior Category Manager at NHS Shared Business Services, said: “The Consultancy and Advisory Services for Health Framework Agreement has been developed with a particular focus on meeting the specific needs of the healthcare sector. The framework agreement has a total of 10 lots encompassing healthcare, corporate, social value and sustainability, IT, HR and property consultancy services. To meet customer needs, we have a wide range of suppliers from SMEs to well-known national providers to meet our customer’s needs.”

The PPL team and their colleagues across the Sonder group have been listed within the following lots:  

  • Lot 1 – Business, Leadership, Management, Governance, Structure & Strategy (100 suppliers awarded)
  • Lot 2 – Integrated Care, Healthcare & Community care (76 suppliers awarded)
  • Lot 3 – Commercialisation, Innovation & Transformation (89 suppliers awarded)
  • Lot 5 – IT Business Consultancy (79 suppliers awarded)
  • Lot 7 – HR and Employment, Skills, and Training (45 suppliers awarded)
  • Lot 8 – Disease Outbreaks – Endemics, Epidemics and Pandemics (28 suppliers awarded)
  • Lot 9 – Social Value, Sustainability, and Carbon Neutrality (50 suppliers awarded)
