Jenny is a Senior Consultant at PPL who specialises in community engagement, service co-design and improvement.
Jenny has supported the co-design and implementation of multiple new healthcare services aiming to improve care provision and health outcomes. This includes setting up virtual ward pathways, a new integrated London Ambulance Service Urgent Community Response Car and a primary care call handling support service. She has strong project and change management skills, previously supporting development of North West London’s Local Care programmes to deliver on NHS England priorities at pace.
Jenny has also worked closely with residents, their families and carers, and healthcare professionals to develop Adult’s and Children’s Social Care Services and standardise autism assessment pathways to reduce care variation and enable movement towards a preventative and integrated approach to care. To enable the work, she facilitated conversations between wide groups of stakeholders, set up multiple workstreams and co-developed standard operating procedures and implementation plans.
Jenny has a mental health background having worked both as a frontline healthcare worker in a secure UK mental health hospital as well as placements in mental health hospitals abroad. Prior to PPL, she specialised in organisational development and public policy working in specialist consultancies and Surrey County Council. Jenny liaised with government officials and NHS senior leaders as part of stakeholder engagement strategies to gain NICE approval for rare disease therapies in the UK. At Surrey, she prepared policy briefings for social care reform proposals, critical in the local council’s response to the UK Government’s Health and Social Care White Paper.
She received a Distinction in her MSc in Health Psychology from UCL and holds a BA in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford.
